Good Old Sleeping Pics

So here he is... still at the hospital and his grandma Cardon is holding him... so cute! He loves his grandma so much! So the first night we came home he didn't really like the idea of sleeping at night so Brock and i stayed up with him till about 1 and then we passed him off to our mom... she then stayed up with him for about 4 hours... wow, we are so very thankful for her and all the help she has been! So then the second night he did a little better but grandma still was up with him for a while... Then last night was so much better... he actually slept in our room and didnt have to be held to fall asleep. so of course he woke up a couple times to eat but went right back to sleep! Such a good boy! Really he is such a blessing in our lives and we love him so much! i really can't imagine my life without him... So a couple things that he likes to do is... when he is hungry he really likes to wiggle in Brocks arms... he loves to look at my book shelf... he loves to sleep on peoples chest... he likes to cover his mouth when he sneezes... he likes to suck on his hands... and he really likes to pee on whomever is changing his diaper :) FUNNY STORY... last night brock was changing Cals diaper and he was kind of fussy so i was kissing Cals face and trying to sooth him and all the sudden he started peeing and it shot strait in my face... all over my eye and hair... so brock saw what was happening so he tried to cover him and all the sudden he pooped EVERYWHERE! haha it was the craziest diaper change ever!! So we gave him a bath... :) good times! well we hope you like the pics... his favorite place to sleep is with someone (his aunt kinz is such a good aunt... Cal likes her!) but he really likes his polka dotted pillow too!

A Couple More Pictures!

Here is a couple more pictures from the day! Everything continues to go well. Ashley is up and about and feeling a lot better. Lil' Cal is doing a lot of sleeping, a lot of eating, and tons of looking cute.

Cal and Uncle Trevin!

Ooh, sleepy heads!

Callin is Here!

Hey Everybody! So I know that everyone wants to see a few pictures, so I am going to put a few up for everyone to check out of the baby. Still not too many of them, and they are all from the first couple hours after birth (he has not even had his bath yet in most of these), so more to come.

So far everything is great! After the excitement of the emergency C-section yesterday afternoon, everything has settled down. Callin is so cute, and healthy as an ox so far. Ashley is slowly feeling better as she recovers from the surgery. We think that we will probably be out of the hospital in a couple days.

So for now that's it...more to come soon. Enjoy the pics! -Brock

Big Belly and Swollen Feet

Ok so this is just Brock and I messing around with the camera! I love him!! He is the Greatest!!

Ok so this is me and Callin (he is the one making my belly huge) and i am pretty sure i cant get much bigger...
THis is Brock trying to get as big as me... i dont think he even has a chance!
My really swollen feet... i dont think you can really see it very well but trust me... they are bad!

Ok so I am just going to update everyone on whats happening with little Callin. So lately he hasn't been too nice to me... well yes he has, but my back has been way sore and my feet and hands (well how bout my whole body for that matter) are soooo swollen. I guess i am just so blessed that I only swell sometimes... mostly during and after work:) good thing i only have one more week at work to go! yea! But really i cant believe how uncomfortable i have been, poor Brock has to deal with me complaining all the time, even tho he has a lot harder life than me... he is studying and working really hard now a days, he rarely gets sleep and i fear that it will only get worse once the little guy comes. So this last Tuesday i went to the doctors to get checked and all that jazz to see if i was progressing at all and GUESS WHAT... i am starting to dilate and i am getting ready so my doctor thinks if i go naturally then i will deliver right around my due date! Oct. 27th... but this next Tues. he wants to talk to me about maybe being induced sometime... so i don't know... i think we both want to go naturally so that we can deal with the excitement and anticipation of not knowing when it will happen:) so today we went to Costco to stock up on food and stuff and then we went to the Orem Community Hospital and took a tour of the women's labor and delivery areas... (my doctor really wants me to deliver there and so we checked it out) I really liked it there... its crazy because it is so small and there was like no one there... but it was nice and cozy and i really think i would like to deliver there... so we are now registered at both Utah Valley and Orem Community... but yea, i am doing really well... a little uncomfortable but im good! But now i need to wrap this up because brock needs the computer... o just one more thing... this monday we also went and Brock let me get the Graco Soothing Center, a glider chair, and some other fun baby things:) We are so ready now! We love all of you guys!

Super Fun Weekend

So this weekend we were able to go up to Logan, Ut and spend time with the family.Mckenzie and I were able to go up a little earlier than the boys because we were able to spend time with Dayna Allen.we went to Pita Pit and talked about lots of fun things. It was really good to catch up with her and see whats happening in her life. Then Brock and Trevin got there and we all had an amazing dinner. (o how we all love Moms home cooked meals)Then the boys (Mason and Dad included) all went to the BYU vs USU football game while all us girls went to Lisel and my baby shower. It was so much fun, i got so many cute clothes and other things... we really are so thankful for all the things we got and we cant wait till we can use it all. So the boys came home and even tho the good old cougars won, it seemed like they lost because of the way they played in the second half.So then we were able to watch conference on saturday and we even went to masons soccer (it was pouring rain the whole time we were there, and it was so fun!) then after priesthood session we went to Iggy's so that we could eat and so the boys could all watch some more football. It was amazing and then sunday morning (way too early... 6ish) we woke up and all drove to the conference center where we dropped of brock so he could translate for the sunday sessions. So then that is where our really fun weekend ended. It was really sad because we already miss hanging out with our family and now we are back to working and school (boo). Then there is always that good old lingering thought of when the baby will come, where we will be, and stuff like that. so we are nervous and excited for that! but we are so thankful for the time we did get to spend with the fam and the love and support they always show us!
