Good Times!

Cal having a blast crawling all over daddy!
Cal loves to play with daddy!
Cal making the funniest face... we bought a little pool and put him in it and apparently it was really cold so i guess he was super happy to get out... so funny!
He loves the swings but every time i got the camera out he wanted to gab it!
Looks like a little model baby...

Trying to keep the little guy busy while we eat... so hard he is getting into everything these days... he is going to be a little terror when he can crawl...
He is such a cute sleeper... he sometimes will sleep on his side.

So here is his sleeping update... we haven't had to get him out of bed for about a week now! He sleeps from 7-730pm to about 730-8am... there have been a couple times that he has woken up but it only takes about a minute to cry himself back to sleep... its so great! we love him!

Update on Our lives

So every Wednesday (Thursday now), my friend Heather and I get together because we both have kids and we need a little time of adult time... even when we dont really do anything it is just nice to have a friend around to talk to. Well when she came this week we made Cals toy into a tunnel and I think they liked it a lot! Carson really liked the beach ball and Cal really liked to feel the mesh on the side of the tunnel. It was so fun to see them play, they are getting so big so fast!

Just having a great time... he is such a happy boy!
It is really fun to see them play together, this week was the first time they really even noticed eachother and it was so fun... they just wanted to touch eachothers faces really...

So we went to Masons playoff soccer game and it was really fun... Cal was kind of fussy... that is 0-2 for soccer games... guess he is just a football, basketball kind of guy:)
Cal got his 6 month shots this week and he did really good... while we were at the office he was talking, smiling and laughing at the nurse and she was like "dont smile, it makes it a lot harder for me" haha but after he got the shots he cried a little so she gave him a doctor rubber ducky and he loved it...
Here is a picture of his shots... he was such a happy boy too!
Cal and his Ducky...
Cal likes to wear his daddys hat... he now can sometimes take it off Brocks head... SO SMART!
So we got a new computer last week... our other one was breaking down... again... so we got all the pictures and other files off it before it really crashed and then we got a new one... we like it a lot... hopefully it will last!
Cal has TWO teeth now... he was kind of complaining in this picture but it looks like daddy is a lot more sad then he is.
Cal loves his music...
Just chilling... he looks so old to me...
Here he is watching signing time... he loves it and wont pay attention to anyone while he is watching!

So now an update on us all...

Well we are going to start up the "cry it out" again... it was really going well but then we had to stop so that Allison (our sister-in-law to be) could sleep in his room for a few weeks, so he was moved to our room and it is impossible to do it (for me anyway) when he is right next to you... and then if he hears you move he cries louder... soooo we get to start that all over again.. im sure he is so excited! I am way excited tho, because he got to the point where he would sleep from 7-530ish and now he is back to every three hours... so its time for all of us to get sleep!

Brock now has two jobs, he is working on campus from 5-8 every morning and then works about 20 hours every week at the MTC. He is working hard and Cal and i really miss him when he is away but we know that he is doing it for us and we love him for it!

Hmmm... other than being a mom, i just try and work out as much as i can, and i am re-reading the Harry Potter books... i am so excited for the movie to come out! yea! I am trying to learn how to be a good mom and just learning as i go!

Well thanks for all your love and support... Hope you all have a great Weekend!

Getting the first TOOTH!

Well Cal is starting to get his first tooth... its on his lower gums and you can start to see it (well if you can get him to not lick your hand when you try and see it) and he has been a little fussy the last couple days. At first we thought it was just because he was constipated but i finally stuck my finger in his mouth and well i felt it... so i dont really know what to do... he likes to chew on everything but i dont know if there is any other things i could do to relieve his pain... if any of you have any ideas let me know!
And can you let them cry at night when they are teething?

Weight Update... Lost a couple pounds last week so i am at 140.4... didnt get to my under 140 goal but i will get there soon! Thanks for all of your support!
