Disneyland And Family Fun!

So this past week has been really fun for Cal and I, unfortunately Brock was unable to come with us because of school and work:( But i thought it would be fun to share some pictures from our trip. This was the first time in almost three years that all 8 of my siblings have been together... it was so awesome to see everyone... sorry there are a lot of pictures:)So Cal and i went to go meet mickey mouse while my other siblings were on a roller coaster that Cal cant go on... it was so much fun and Mickey was trying to make Cal smile by rubbing his face with his nose but Cal just got really interested in the nose and didnt want to let go:)

5 MONTHS... aNd loOk wHaT I can Do!

I am Five Months old!!! and I can Sit Up!

Prunes, snow, and Twins?...

So we decided to start feeding Cal some "solid" foods. At first he had a little trouble eating it but by the end he got it down pretty well... we were not too sure if he liked it or not but then if there was too long of a pause between bites he would ask for more... it was fun and it got all over:)

I just thought this picture of Cal was so cute... he had his arm up and everything... so i got the camera and Brock decided he would do the same thing and i think it turned out really cute!

Frogs, Hats, and Weight Update

This is our little froggy... he loves to be in the water and splash around!
This is Cal in his really cute little hat that his uncle mason got him for Christmas. He is such a stud!

So here is an update on my weight competition. So last monday my family came up with a competition so we could all lose weight by our ski trip in august. and with a lot of help from my amazing husband (babysitting while i go to the gym) and just trying to eat healthy and smaller portions i lost 9.6 lbs!(i weighed myself moday night) i was pretty amazed, i didn't think i would be able to lose that much weight so fast! Anyway i am having lots of fun, but i am working really hard! Hope all is well with everyone!

Cal's 4 Month Check-up

So we went to the doctor for his "four month well baby visit" and he is doing so good!
Weight- 13lbs 12oz
Height- 24 1/4th inches
Head Circumference- 42cm
He is now in about the 50th percentile in all the categories which is good because he was like in the fifth percentile in height at his 2 month.
It is so much fun to see how much he has grown in just the past four months. The first picture is of him on his first day home and then the next one is of him just the other day... he is growing so fast!! he will get his second set of shots in about two weeks and i dont want to take him!

Biggest Loser Vonasek Style

Ok so here is the deal... My brother and I were talking yesterday and we decided that we are going to try and lose weight and to make it a little more fun we made a competition out of it. So after a little while my dad, sister Shawntel, and my aunt Wendi wanted to join in too. It kind of turned out to be a family thing and i think we could even get a couple more people in on it. So i think we are all going to look way good at the ski trip!!

How to win- The person with the highest percentage of weight loss.
How long- We are all going to the family ski trip in august so we decided we have till August 3rd.
The prize: all the losers will give the winner 20$. (so now its at 80$)
Rule #1- take a picture of scale and send it to all the players.... so we don't cheat.
Rule #2- he healthy about it! dont be stupid!!

I know that people are probably thinking that this is super embarrassing for me to put my weight on my blog but i really think that it is a great incentive for me to lose the weight and just keep to the plan. I also think the more people who know what i am trying to do, the more help and support i will get.
