Friday Night trick-or-treating... for some reason in Milwaukee all the neighborhoods pick different days and times to trick or treat... Its kind of fun... but it makes for a VERY LONG Halloween week.
All ready for bed...
So it is getting QUITE cold here so we decided to put our trampoline down in our basement... its way fun and fits perfectly:)
We figured out a way to put his basketball hoop on the tramp... SO FUN:)

Just in case anyone is wondering... we are having such a great time in Milwaukee so far. Brock is LOVING school and is doing really well:) He got his mentor the other day and he is a heart surgeon and brock was SOO excited to start working with him. Brock has also been volunteering at the free clinics and has got to do some really fun things there. The kids are growing up way too fast and for me... I am having a fun time, I have some really great friends here and I just love spending time with the kids! Well I can't wait for the Holidays:) Mostly cause I get to see FAMILY:) Love you all!!!

p.s. Cal turned THREE YEARS OLD a couple weeks ago... i will put up a birthday post soon:)

Tinz 5 months!

Tinzley is 5 Months today! I still can't believe how fast she is growing.
I just think she is the cutest and happiest little girl I know! She really is just a sweet heart and I can't get enough of her:)
Here is Tinz and her big brother Cal... HE IS ALMOST 3 YEARS OLD!! AHHH... I can still remember Cal when he was this little and o man time flies when you are having fun! The only difference was that I couldn't wait till Cal grew up and now I just want Tinz to slow down!!
She is a rolly little thing and I love it:) Happy 5th Month Tinz!!! Love you dearly!!

p.s. this little dress was from Brocks aunt Nancy and I LOVE IT!!! So cute! I remember thinking that it was never going to fit her cause it was so big but... sighs... and it already does:) Love it!

Gymmer Time!!

So this week we were invited to hang out with some of our friends. We decided that because it was a little too chilly outside that we would go to a local gymnastics club and play at their open gym!!!
Callin was a natural! You would have thought he grew up in a gym! He had so much fun swinging, jumping, flipping, and running around!
He was so funny! I think after this experience we will have to get him into a class soon... now he tells me at night that he is going to dream about gymnastics and it will be so fun!

They have a tumble tramp (a very long trampoline that you can learn how to do tumbling passes on!) which Cal loved! He would bounce down and then do flips onto the mats:)

Rollin, Talkin and Sittin...

So look who is learning to sit all by herself... Its still wobbly and sometimes she gets excited and throws herself backward but she is doing so good:)
Ok so Tinz is one of the chillest babies I have ever seen... She is such a calm little thing... but because of this there has been times that I was thinking she was never going to learn anything like rolling over or sitting or even talking...
She is so quiet all the time... BUT all the sudden like 3 days ago she decided she wanted to be heard... I think she hasnt stopped talking since.... and i LOVE it... her voice is so cute and I can't get enough of it:)
About the same time that she decided to talk, she decided to continue her rolling streak... you see she has rolled a couple times but few and far in between... but one morning she was like "hey mom... I am such a good roller look at me!!!" It was so fun, Cal decided that we had to have a party after every time she rolled... we even broke out the fake cake, candy and presents:)
Tinzley is seriously such a blessing in my life... she is learning so fast... TOO Fast... I want her to stay little forever, she is so fun and little and EASY! I am afraid once she becomes mobile my life will get a lot more hectic:) But i think it will be a blast!!!

Look Who Is 4 Months

This Cute little girl is 4 Months old! She is still a super sweet, fun, and happy little girl. Her personality comes out more and more every day! I love this little girl, she is such a joy to have in our home:)
This last weekend we went to Tosafest. It was actually A LOT of fun! There was food, entertainment and shopping:) Here is Brock and Cal standing in front of a piece of the trade centers.

I don't know if you can see this but it is Cal sleeping. He gets to sleep with a couple "friends" aka his stuffed animals... I went in there to get Tinz one time and he had tucked in his friends at the opposite side of the bed... I just thought it was sooo cute!
Here is Tinz... She got her first round of shots the other day :/ She was 13 lbs 7 0z and 24.5 in. All of those are a little about the 50 percentile range. She is getting so big so fast I can't believe it! That's all for now!

there were lots of med students who randomly showed up at the same time as us:) it was lots of fun!
Just chilling... she was so good and stayed in there for like 2 hours!

We were able to take advantage of our awesome landlord. He has a really fun back yard and makes sure we know that we can use it whenever and as much as possible! He even stocks his refrigerator with sodas and snacks for us:) He is awesome! Thanks Fred!

Milwaukee Fun

Here is Tinz... were were just having a fun photo shoot cause it was her first 3-6 month outfit she has worn... and I just thought she looked SO CUTE!!!! I like this funny face she was making... it took me a while to get a smile:)

Bath time is a family favorite time... Tinzley LOVES the water and so does Cal!!! Bath times if full of splashes, giggles and fun!
We like to go on walks here when it isnt too hot and humid. The other evening we went and walked around downtown Wauwatosa it was a lot of fun, it is a very cute little town...
Tinz loves looking around... she is getting to be so coordinated and alert... she needs to slow it down, she is growing way too fast!
Her favorite thing to do, except play with mom and dad:) She LOVES her exersaucer:)

Our house becoming a Home

Our New couch... This was the first thing we bought when we got to Milwaukee... Its kind of annoying not having anywhere to sit:/
Here is our picture wall... Brocks dad put all the pics up for us, i think it looks great!... Brock thinks its A LOT of pictures:)
Here is our front room from the other side... you can see our front door on the right and on the left is our hallway that leads into the rooms and the bathroom...
Here is part of our kitchen... its a small kitchen but it serves us well enough. Believe it or not, i still have lots to move around in there still.
Here is our room... It has changed quite a bit since this pic... No pack'n play and lots cleaner... BUT the thing i wish to change more than anything... the nasty florescent green color on the wall. :)
Here is our little breakfast bar that is in our kitchen... We LOVE this... its great!
The kidos room... it is mighty squished in there... I think it would be very difficult to get a third one in there... So hopefully we will get a bigger home in about 2 years:)

I will add newer pics soon... you still need to see our basement and stuff... I am ashamed to say that we still have some unpacking to do.. but we did get a table and chairs which is heaven:) and we only have a couple more things that will finish our house off...

Well here is to settling in Wisconsin for the next four years:) Its been fun so far!!!

Three Months

This Little Girl is 3 Months Old!!!! Isn't she just getting so big:) She is still an amazing little baby girl and she has the sweetest little personality. We are so blessed to have her in our lives!!

BIG FAT Update

For all of you who don't know... Brock is currently in Alabama at Commissioned Officer Training Camp... or COT for short. He has been there for over three weeks and still has a while to go. He is doing such a good job learning all the things about the Air Force and becoming a great leader. Like any officer at this camp, he hates it... he hates being away from his family, all the screaming, marching in the 104 degree weather and all that fun stuff. BUT he is such a trooper and is almost DONE! yea! Actually next time we see him we will have already moved to Milwaukee and we will be meeting him there! (Isn't he so official looking in his uniform, and yes they had to wear it to church... all of their civilian clothes were locked up:)
YEA!!!! Tinzley is 2 Months old:) She is such a blessing in our lives and when Brock sees her again she will be sooo big! Tinzley is growing so fast and I love to see her personality beginning to develop. Tinz is an AMAZING sleeper (which has been such a blessing with Brock MIA for the time being) and has such a fun and calm demeanor.
Cal is amazing! He is such a smart and cute boy! He loves his sister so much and is a very big help to his mom. I think they will be great friends when they grow bigger.
Before Brock went off to COT he was able to come to Bear Lake with us for the Hanks family reunion! We had so much fun and I was so happy to spend that time with him before he left, especially since this is probably the last year we will be going there. (p.s. bear lake is SOOO COLD!!!!)
We had so much fun with all the grand kids together at bear lake. Cal loved the pool, golfing, the beach, bubbles, and all the treats! It was great to be able to spend that week with Trevin, Allison and Addison and everyone else before we leave for Milwaukee:)
We were able to go to California to Grandma and Grandpa Vonasek's and show off Tinzley:) (this was the first time many of my family got to see her) We got to stay there for a week and a half (which wasn't nearly long enough!) We got to go swimming, horse back ridding, to the theaters, and much much more! it was so fun to play with all of the cousins and be with the family. (and I got a new set of teeth pretty much:) Thanks Dr. Cope for fixing my teeth:)

Here is Tinzley when she turned 1 month old. Isn't she just a doll! We love her to pieces!
O Grandma and Grandpa Cardon... what can we say about them... they have been so gracious and let us live with them in their home this summer. They made multiple trips to Provo to start moving our stuff up to their house. They helped me go thru all my stuff so I could sell it at a garage sale we had (We totally made bank!) They have just been helping me out so much (i cant even say i have been a parent of two kids because they do so much for me). They have been entertaining Callin while I take care of Tinz and get other things done. I don't think we could thank them enough for all they have done for our family, we will be eternally indebted to them... maybe we will have to come visit for Christmas;) O and did i mention that they are driving a uhaul and our car out to Milwaukee for us and then the kids and i will fly out there and meet them... seriously how awesome are they!!!
Cal is just becoming such a bright big boy! He is such a source of happiness in my life and I can imagine me life without him!
I love Tinzley's smiles... even in the middle of the night when she wakes up she smiles up at me... I LOVE IT!

O how I will miss this man! I wish i could just bring him to Milwaukee to deliver by baby/s that i will have there... He is a great doctor and for all you moms out there in Provo, DR. JUDD is the BEST!!!

On Memorial Day we went and visited some of those family members that we love and miss. Here is Tinzley with her Aunt Stacia Ruth Cardon. We took her middle name for Tinzley.

Our Little Baby Girl

Introducing Tinzley Ruth:) She came to our family on Monday the 16th of May at 3:15pm. She was 6 pounds and 12 ounces and 20 inches long. Tinzley is an amazing little baby girl and we are so excited to finally have her as part of our family. Cal has adjusted to the change very well! He is so sweet, when she fusses he will sing her songs and go and find the binky for her. He will also throw away her diapers for us without us even asking him too and he just gets so excited when she opens her eyes... he has just taken on the role of big brother like a champ!

Again thank you all for all your prayers and support, her delivery was still kind of full of drama (just like her brothers) but turned out perfect in every way, especially because we got a perfectly healthy little girl out of it all:)

My Little Super Hero

I guess since Jimmer and other BYU sports are absent from our lives at the moment, Cal has moved on to being a super hero... His Grandma got him these awesome PJ's and this cool sword:) Good times:)

Another thing that I have been way excited about recently is having this little baby girl... it has been so fun watching Cal interact with his new cousin Addison... he is so gentle and I think he is going to be a GREAT BIG BROTHER!!!!

Another Update!

Brock and I were able to take a fun quick trip to Milwaukee this last weekend. It was really fun and we found a house (pictures below) that we will be living in for the next 2 years!!! yea! So while we were out there we decided that we would take a trip to Chicago and it was a LOT of fun...

Stairs to the big downstairs... which we love... its just a big empty space... it will be great for the kids to play:)
Here is the kitchen... Its kind of small but I love all the new cupboards and there is a huge sink and nice appliances... So it will for sure work:)
Our living room... nice red walls huh... we will see if they stay:) But anyway that is our house and we are so excited cause it will be all our own:) And plus there is a really nice big fenced in backyard which we LOVE and its close to like 4 different parks and in a nice neighborhood:) SO FUN... it will be an adventure:)
O yea... and I am officially 34 weeks preggers:) Which means WATER RETENTION!!! I can feel it every time I move, especially in my feet... O well that's what its all about... we are so excited to meet our little girl, she is so very active (way more active than Cal ever was... hope that's not a bad sign:) Anyway I do have a scheduled C-section on the 16th of May so hopefully she will come a day or two before that so I don't need to have another c-section, but if not we are excited to see her that day anyway:)

Air Force?... A Good Old Update

I don't know how many of you know but Brock got into medical school!!!! We decided, for many reasons, that we were going to apply for the Air Force Medical Scholarship. This will include Brock actually going to boot camp this summer, and also serving in the Air Force as a doctor for a few years after his schooling. We are actually really excited for this potential opportunity. EEEkkk... even though it is not likely, we might even get to serve somewhere out of the country:) What a fun experience that would be:) I am so proud of Brock and all the things he has accomplished this past year especially! He has worked SOOO hard to get where he is at this point... HE IS AMAZING!!!
Next... our update- Well I am now in my 3rd Trimester:) Yea!!! Can't wait to meet our little girl...(according to my weekly email she should be about 2 1/4 lbs now and opening and closing her eyes) She has been kicking me like crazy, way more than Cal ever did:) That is super fun when I try to sleep:) But before she comes I get to finish school and GRADUATE with Brock!!!
Yea!!! So excited!!! I am now getting ready to do my practicum in the schools next week... Kind of scary but exciting... cause when I am done with that I will only have like three weeks of school left:) So exciting!!! Brock is currently hired on at BYU as visiting faculty. He is teaching a class of a few people to do what he used to do with his research which is kind of cool... He gets to have a faculty ID and everything:) Too bad we don't get the A parking lot pass... o well:)
Callin is doing AMAZING... he is the cutest little boy and has such a great personality! He is always talking up a storm, even telling us stories now... He honestly says the funniest things, Brock and I just look at each other and laugh... He loves to pretend with almost anything. He loves Jimmer and also Superman and Batman:) He is still a little guy but getting bigger:) We even had to go get him bigger jeans this last week:) O man we have such a great time together! It will be awesome when we have Tinzley to play with too!!! Hope you all have an amazing weekend! XOXO till next time:)

FUTURE DOCTOR!!!!

YEAAAA Brock got accepted into the Medical College of Wisconsin!!! We are sooo EXCITED.... I'm sure I am embarrassing him like crazy cause I just want to tell EVERYONE!!!

But I am just so proud of him! We don't know if this will be our final destination but we are excited to know that we will at least be going to medical school somewhere!!! There are about 5 other schools we are waiting on just to keep our options open. Brock LOVED this school when he went for his interview and we would LOVE to live there!!! SO FUN and EXCITING!!!

We are sooo excited to know that we will be having a little girl... Had to even things out here in the Cardon family!

To be honest I am kind of nervous to have a girl because I feel like its going to be a totally different experience than raising a boy... but it will be fun... RIGHT?

Well Callin already loves to kiss his "baby sister" and we are just so excited to meet her and we are SUPER excited that she is Healthy and Growing well so far!!! ... I just have to get through school first:) Good times:)

Thanksgiving and Randoms

This Thanksgiving we were able to go up to Logan and be with the Cardon Family. We had so much fun and wish the break was a lot longer!!
We decorated the tree while we were up there and it was a lot of fun!!! Cal got lots of help from his aunts and uncle...

So we get to babysit Cameron every week and we like to go to the Library for Toddler time... it is so much fun, they sing songs, learn about letters, read books, do puppet shows and more!!
Santa came and said hi to all the kids... it was a lot of fun! The letter of the day was M.
After it was over all the children got a free little backpack. Cal is OBSESSED with his!! So cute!

We then went to the mall and played on the new playground there... it was a lot of fun... we also saw some fun rides and Meaghan (so kindly) let them ride on a couple! They had a blast!!!

*** No pictures for this part but during Thanksgiving we did the whole Black Friday... we went to Walmart at 12:01 and then we went to Kohls and Smiths early that day. It was super fun and Brock actually had a LOT more fun than he expected. Walmart was for sure the craziest, we almost got smashed in the crowd trying to get our 2$ movies:) We got the ones we wanted so it was all good!!!! And it was TOTALLY worth it!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!

Labor Day Weekend

Well to start it out we went to the first BYU game of the season!!! So FUN!!!
Allison and Trevin were there too... they helped out a lot with keeping Cal entertained.. THANKS!

So then on Labor day we went to Cabella's with Grandma and Grandpa... So much fun to hang out with them!

Haha o my goodness this was such a funny day! He loves to be naked!

He kept going and doing something funny and then running back to me and saying "see, see, see!"

He loves to walk on his knees as of late... its so funny!
Cal loves to watch tv at the end of our bed... he is watching an elmo movie while holding onto his little Elmo toy:)
So Cal is also obsessed with these little stickers... he looks at them and says "happy" and puts them EVERYWHERE... we find them on our clothes, behind the couches, on the piano... everywhere!
Just so cute and I love him so much, i am so glad he got over his sicknesses (stomach flu and then fever and canker sores all down his throat)

So anyway this last few weeks have been kind of crazy, Mckenzie came into town and hung out with us. I feel bad cause Brock had to take the MCAT and Cal was sick AND i had to work. So i hope that she had at least a little fun.

So Brock took the MCAT! YEAAAA WHOOOO!! He thinks he actually did alright too which is good! we will find out how he did in a few weeks, so now all we can do is wait.... ..... .... So now he is just working full time doing landscaping and i am working part time as a coach... So FUN!

Kylie (brocks sister) graduated this weekend too, which was fun... well the ceremony was 2.5 hours long... so it was boring but it was good that Ky graduated! Good job!

And i will give a shout out to McKaela and Morgan who are also graduating! love you guys!

Moving... Logan... Update

So here we go... We moved up to Logan this week right after we finished all of our finals! Happy to say we both did very well this semester and the weather was great for the move (day before and after after rained) So on our way up to Logan we stopped at a gymnastics club in town and I got a job!! yea! So Brock will be studying for the MCAT and working a couple days a week with his cousin. And i will be Coaching at Air Bound! So fun and excited!
Already being put to work:) Cal was a big help!!
Cal is getting so big and smart. He is 18 Months now and I can believe how amazing he is...
Brock and I are betting on how long it takes his parents to get sick of us... We are thinking about 3 weeks?... mmm... hopefully never tho!

This is Callin Shooting hoops... he loves basketball and anything else sports! He is so funny and we love to watch him practice. He is actually really good and makes about 1/3 shots. We are so impressed with how much he will actually play all by himself (he will go in his room, shut the door and throw a ball up at the door for about an hour at a time). He actually has really good form for a 16 month old too... We love him and hope you enjoy the video, which came from brocks phone so it is sideways...

Happy Birthday Brock! I hope you have an amazing birthday! Can't Believe how OLD you are... 24... wow that is like 11 whole days older than ME:) Love you!
Brock is such a amazing guy! It was like love at first sight... well for me anyway:) He has always been so much fun to be around but more than that... he is my world. I don't know what i would do without him!
Plus, he is such a stud... i mean look how cool he is:) He works so hard at school and work so that he can support our family and allow me to be an at home mom... See... STUD!! Thanks baby! I'm so thankful for all of your hard work and sacrifice! You are amazing!
And to top it off he is like the best person ever so he is going to be a great man for my kids. They will always have an amazing dad to look up to. He loves the gospel, school, sports, me, and i guess everything that a good man should love.

Ok so Callin had his first real injury... So Callin is 10 months now and it is crazy how fast he is growing up and learning new things! He is crawling around and when he wants to he will walk a few steps but i think its too slow for him so he just drops down and crawls. He is such a sweet boy and brings so much joy into our lives!

** ok i have got a lot of questions about the earwax thing that me and my family did... ok so you put a hollow candle in your ear (have to get at a store or online... and they need to be specified for earwax removal) and you have someone burn the candle and while it burns it causes a suction that sucks the earwax our of your ear... it does work, it doesn't hurt at all, its a fun bonding experience and a fun competition... and it is actually your earwax and not the wax from the candle... as you can see in our last post, all of our earwax is different colors and different sizes even tho we used the same candles and burn it for the same amount of time:) Have fun!

So my sisters and I took our kids to my old Elementary School... Good old Charles Brown:) The kindergarten playground is pretty cool so I think our little ones had quite a bit of fun!! (my brother Aaron showed up a little later and brought AJ along with him... we love playing with AJ)

So This was Cals little fort when we went to Cali a couple weeks ago... He had the sun in his eyes the whole time so we put up a fort of blankets... He was such a good boy on the way out there! Only was fussy for about 20 min out of a 10 hour trip!!
Ok so here is my final weigh in... i lost a total of 41.6 lbs and that ended up being a little over 25 percent. Well I actually won! which was pretty exciting but the best thing was that we were all so close and we have all lost so much weight! My brother Aaron was just a little bit under 25 percent and he lost over 60 lbs and my Sister Shawntel lost over 40 lbs too and was around 22 percent! It was a lot of fun and i really think that everyone should be proud of themselves! keep it up and lets stay healthy so we don't have to do this again!! Love you all and I cant wait to come to Cali again!!

Weight Update...Kind Of...

Just a side note-- I had my final weigh in today for the Vonasek family biggest loser competition. I am not going to lie, I am really disappointed at the final number. Don't get me wrong, I had already lost a ton of weight and exceeded my original goal, but I have felt a little down that I am not going to win. It's ok though, I am so happy with how things have turned out. I wish I could reveal my final number, but we are waiting to do it all to gether in California next week.

Anyways, just thought I would vent a little...*SIGH*...

So here are some more pictures of Callin! This last week his Aunt Mckenzie and my friend Meaghan visted us, and we had lots of fun! He is getting so big and wiggly and mobile! He gets better and better at crawling everytime we put him down! Fu n times...anyways, here they are!

Cal's First Attempts at Crawling

So, here it is, Cal's first real attempt at crawling. He has been trying and trying for the last week or so, and this was his best effort so far. Not the most coordinated attempt ever, but it made his daddy proud. So far, food is hands down (it wasn't even close) the best motivator to get him to crawl around. He already is a rolling champ, but soon we are afraid that he is going to be fully mobile...life changes yet again! It is so much fun. We love our little dude!

So my family is still doing our biggest loser competition, i am not going to update my newest weight because its getting so close to the end we wanted to make our big reveal exciting... I put this blog up on our private site and i thought that some of my other supporters might want to see how i was doing. We decided to do our final weigh in on the 27th! and i am so excited for everyone who stuck it out because i think we have all done a really awesome job!

So i put on the same clothes that i wore when i was preggers to see what they looked like... so they arent the most flattering clothes now (cause they are a little big) but i think it shows the difference pretty well... then i found the pic of me a couple days before i gave birth so i thought it was kind of fun... and embarassing... to see the difference. Not gonna lie... its pretty awesome to know that you can go back to normal after you have a baby...

Fun Times, Camping and Golfing

So this last weekend we went camping for the first time since we have been married! And it was definitely Cals first time camping too! Cal was such a good baby... he loved looking at the fire and all the fun things going on... He didn't really sleep that well but i think it was because when he would wake up he could see us right there next to him so he would try and get our attention. But we had such a fun time with the Woolstenhulme's and the Jividen's. We had tin foil dinners that turned out to be really good and for breakfast Marilee and Mica made us a "heart attack", it was sausage, hashbrowns and eggs... it was SOOO good!!

He isnt really crawling yet but he can roll and scoot where ever he wants... and this is why we cant leave him alone in a room alone anymore... It was so cute tho, so i had to take pictures!
We went to the driving range with the Millers and had a really good time! Cal loved playing with the golf balls!
